About FRANK JOHANNES - PHOTOGRAPHER - BERLIN
... after breaking up his academic career in 1995, Frank started working in the photo business as an assistant for tm-studios in Fürth.
In '98 he moved to London/UK to start work as a photographer.
After he spent several years working there, in Hannover and in Bern/CH he returned to Nürnberg, where he was running his own studio from 2004 to 2009. In 2009 he finally moved to Berlin, where he is living now.
His professional work is a combination of very personal approach and a highly professional product at the same time. His clients like his over 15-years experience and reliability as well as his capacity to adapt to their specific demands in terms of planning, producing & realization of photo shoots – high-end retouch and postproduction included.
Besides his work for Magazine's, agencies and business clients all over Europe, Frank still finds some time for personal projects for art galleries and exhibitions.
In 2009 he also launched the online magazine BRUNO … covering interviews & portraits about fashion, art & music.
Frank also works as a lecturer at the Photoacademy – Berlin since 2009
